MUSCAT, June 11, 2018

The Oman Ministry of Tourism has reported that its ‘Summer Offers 2018’ campaign launched under the theme ‘Experience Oman’ is continuously gaining traction amid the strong influx of regional and international travellers visiting the sultanate.

Rolled out on May 21 to enhance and revitalise the local tourism sector, the initiative is part of the Ministry’s efforts to promote Oman as a leading business and leisure destination in line with Oman Tourism Strategy 2040.

Under the three-month ‘Summer Offers,’ campaign, 51 special hotel packages and attractive promotions are up for grabs.  Oman enjoys moderate weather during the summer, with temperatures reaching up to 25°C in some tourist spots such as Jabal Shams, Jabal Al Akhdar, Dhofar Governorate, Al Ashkharah Beach, several Omani villages and valleys, and beaches located along Al Wusta Governate.
