Citymax Hotels, part of Landmark Group, has unveiled plans for a new hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, which will be ready to welcome guests in Q4.

The Citymax Hotel Ras Al Khaimah is being developed as a joint venture between Landmark Group and ST Group.

Sanjay Dube, chief executive officer at Landmark Hospitality Division, and Eng. Sheikh Salem Sultan Saqr Al Qasimi, chairman of ST Group, signed a management agreement for Citymax Hotels to operate the 204-bedroom hotel at this year’s Arabian Travel Market.

“We are delighted to be partnered with Eng. Sheikh Salem Sultan Saqr Al Qasimi to bring the Citymax brand to a third emirate within the UAE, adding to our current hotel portfolio in Dubai and Sharjah,” commented Dube.

Al Qasimi said: “I feel the Citymax brand and bedroom design will be very successful in Ras Al Khaimah and the other facilities including food and beverage outlets, swimming pool and gym will give guests a fantastic experience”

Citymax Ras Al Khaimah is centrally located by the creek in the Al Nakheel area of the city, close to Al Naeem Mall and only 15 minutes from RAK Airport, the hotel will cater to both business and leisure travellers with meeting rooms, high quality restaurants, roof top swimming pool and exclusive beach access. - TradeArabia News Service
