Kempinski set to open new luxury hotel in Dubai
DUBAI, April 12, 2018
Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group, Kempinski Hotels, has revealed plans to launch the Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai this year.
Located on the West Crescent of Dubai’s exclusive Palm Jumeirah, the 100,000-sq-m beach resort pays homage to the palaces of 18th century Europe. With 389 rooms and suites, eight world-class restaurants and bars, 3,000-sq-m Cinq Mondes Spa, state-of-the-art fitness centre and yoga studio, 500-m private white sand beach and 80-seat private cinema, Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai will provide a gateway into palatial living.
“We look forward to welcoming our discerning guests to our palace by the sea in 2018, and bringing them on our journey,” said Sebastien Mariette, managing director of Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai. “We aim to offer a combination of timeless opulence and world-class luxury to guests visiting Dubai, guaranteed to create unforgettable memories. The UAE is a compelling country full of rich culture, diverse landscapes and unique attractions, making it a must-visit destination for tourists from around the world.”
Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai aims to evoke the great European palaces of the past by an intriguing design: From the grand atrium flanked by towering marble columns to crystal chandeliers and expansive public spaces, opulent interiors leave the modern world behind. Inspired by imperial celebrations of the 18th century, the ballroom – with walls edged in hand-painted gold leaf - comes complete with imposing foyer, outdoor terrace and dual views across the Arabian Gulf and Palm Lagoon.
Featuring eight categories in total, the hotel offers 389 generous guest rooms and suites – each furnished with bespoke pieces from traditional Italian craftsman. At 65-sq-m, the deluxe rooms offer one of the most spacious level entry room categories on Palm Jumeirah, while mezzanine suites give guests the chance to add a unique element to their stay. For those looking for total privacy, eight four-bedroom beachside villas come with secluded private pool, Jacuzzi, spa and hammam – not to mention stunning views of the Palm Lagoon and city skyline beyond.
Eight world-class restaurants and bars ensure that Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai becomes a dining destination – starting with Mix, the first UAE restaurant by world-renowned three Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse. For Italian cuisine aficionados, China Grill Management brings New York’s chic Italian restaurant concept All’onda to Dubai, while the Dogus Group’s Il Riccio serves superlative seafood focusing on recipes from Campania. Contemporary pan-Asian steakhouse Enso gives premium steak cuts an oriental twist and NiDaLa, a boho-chic bar and lounge, blends innovative cocktails prepared by expert mixologists with a bohème atmosphere. Finalising the culinary journey, Kempinski will operate a European all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge serving Haute French cuisine, pool & beach bar and private dining.
Parisian wellness pioneers Cinq Mondes have carefully crafted the bespoke 3,000-sq-m Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai spa. Delivering true European luxury, guests can enjoy 24 immaculate treatment rooms, the city’s largest indoor pool and two dazzling private spa suites. Those wanting to find relaxation away from pampering can flex their golfing muscles at the eight hole putting green, work it out the state-of-the-art fitness centre and yoga studio, find sanctuary at the 500-m private white sand beach and lagoon pool or dive into local and international film culture at the 80-seat private cinema. - TradeArabia News Service
