Bahrain discusses tourism ties with Tunisia

Bahrain and Tunisia are looking to strengthen their bilateral relations and enhance areas of cooperation to achieve their joint tourism related goals.

The means to create strong ties between both countries, specifically in the traditional handicraft field, were discussed during a meeting between Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, chief executive officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), and Tunisian Republic Ambassador to the kingdom of Bahrain, Mohammed bin Yousif.

Shaikh Khaled also lauded the relations between both countries across all aspects, further stressing the strengthening of joint cooperation and coordination that will in return serve both countries.

He also indicated BTEA’s readiness to enhance the bilateral relations with Tunisia towards achieving the common objectives of both countries with an aim to improve the handicraft sector and exchange experiences in the field.

The Tunisian Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and affirmed his commitment to enhance relations between both countries in the tourism field and further explore other bilateral initiatives. - TradeArabia News Service
