Jannah CEO among keynote speakers at GIOHIS

Nehme Imad Darwiche, president of Darwiche Worldwide Legacy and chief executive officer of Jannah Hotels & Resorts, will be participating in the two-day Gulf & Indian Ocean Hotel Investors’ Summit (GIOHIS) 2018 as one of the keynote speakers.
GIOHIS is a summit focused on Hotel Real Estate Investors, bringing together hotel companies’ CEOs and other senior executives from around the region to discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by the dynamic hospitality industry.
Key industry players, including hotel owners, developers and investors, will convene on January 29 and 30 in Abu Dhabi at the Gulf and Indian Ocean Hotel Investors’ Summit (GIOHIS 2018) to hear from around 60 speakers and discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by the evolving hotel industry, including the markets diversification, the rise of the mega-travel companies, new and fast-rising hotel real estate companies and changes in the power structure of the industry.
Among the confirmed speakers are Saif Saeed Ghobash, director general of Abu Dhabi TCA; Khalid Anib, CEO of Abu Dhabi National Hotels; Enver Cebi, COO and co-founder of HalalBooking.com; and Olivier Chavy, CEO of Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts, among many others.

With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, a Master’s Degree in Hospitality Management and further studies conducted in Cornell University (New York), in Real Estate and Valuation, the young Lebanese hotelier founded Darwiche Worldwide Legacy (DWL) in 2010, and ultimately launched the luxury hospitality brand Jannah Hotels & Resorts in 2011. From hotel operator to investor, DWL has aggressively explored potential business opportunities beyond the hospitality industry.
