Bab Al Shams resort joins Clean Up UAE drive

Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa recently participated in the “Clean Up UAE 2017” campaign held by Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) under the patronage of Sultan Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy.
Together with a number of organisations throughout the UAE, the award-winning Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, was delighted to take part with 90 of its team members in this excellent initiative highlighting the importance of the local community towards a sustainable environment.
The team collected a total of one ton of waste from the surroundings of Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa, spanning over 60,000-sq-m of Dubai desert and located in Al Qudra area, known in the region for its endurance racing.
Commenting on this initiative, Reuben Mifsud, cluster general manager, The Meydan Hotel and Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa said: “We are proud to take part to this environment sustainability initiative “Clean Up UAE 2017” for the first time.
