World's longest urban zipline opens in Dubai

DUBAI, December 5, 2017

Thrill seekers in Dubai are in for the ride of their lives as XDubai opens the world’s longest urban zipline in Dubai Marina, said a report.

Measuring one kilometre, with an incline of 16 degrees, and going at an impressive average of 80 kilometres per hour, the XLine follows the other dubai zipline that opened over the Dubai Fountain in 2015, said a report in The National.

Adrenaline enthusiasts can zip from one of the Amwaj towers in JBR, 170 metres in the air, weaving through skyscrapers and across the water, down to the terrace of Dubai Marina Mall.

With a capacity to accommodate 16 people per hour, the XLine can be enjoyed either by daring individuals or duos, on two concurrently running ziplines.

All those experiencing the XLine can share their experience with the world through a helmet mounted Go-Pro with photos and video delivered via email following the experience, it said

Bookings can be made at the Marina Mall XDubai shop, or online on their website.
