Andrei Karpovich joins the five-star Amwaj Rotana hotel at Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) as director of Human Resources.

Karpovich is no stranger to Rotana Hotels and has over 10 years of hotel experience in the UAE alone. He first joined Rotana in Abu Dhabi in June 2009 and has since expanded his career within the company with two other properties in Abu Dhabi, after which he joined the corporate team in October 2012. Moving across to Dubai, he joined Centro Barsha, the group’s first lifestyle hotel in Dubai where he spent almost two years until joining the team at Amwaj Rotana.

Karpovich who will oversee all HR functions for over 400 staff at Amwaj Rotana comes with an array of professional skills and achievements in employee communication, training and development, performance management, coaching, counselling and conflict resolution.

In his new role, Karpovich will be engaged in a broad range of activities and serve on a variety of committees to foster a positive and engaging culture at Amwaj Rotana, in addition to working collaboratively with key heads of departments in order to maximise the capabilities of the talented workforce at the hotel. - TradeArabia News Service
