IndiGo expands operations with 18 flight frequencies

MUMBAI, September 28, 2017

IndiGo, one of India's leading budget airlines, has announced 18 new non-stop flights across its destination network, six of which will be daily non-stop flights.

Starting October 29, the carrier will launch its inaugural daily service from Amritsar-Bengaluru, and will boost the frequency to daily, non-stop flights from Mumbai-Mangalore, Bengaluru-Dehradun, Delhi-Dubai and Mumbai-Lucknow, among other routes.

Speaking about the network expansion, Aditya Ghosh, president and whole-time director, IndiGo said: “In line with our endeavor to meet the requirements of both business and leisure travellers, we have introduced 18 additional flights as part of the winter schedule. With the increased flow of tourists and business traffic across these sectors, IndiGo is pleased to provide additional frequencies and a direct daily flight between Amritsar and Bengaluru. We are looking at providing affordable fares on these new routes for 6E travellers.
