AirBaltic appoints new PR head

RIGA, May 4, 2017

Latvian airline airBaltic has appointed Alise Briede as the new head of corporate communications.

In her new role, Briede will be responsible for media relations and communications for airBaltic and report to the chief executive officer of airBaltic Martin Gauss.

Briede is a PR professional. She studied at the University of Latvia finishing her Bachelor’s degree in Communications Science. She started her PR career as the Press secretary in Riga; in 2013 she joined the public relations agency “Hill and Knowlton Latvia”. Since 2014, Alise has been working at airBaltic as a corporate communications assistant and later as a corporate communications representative.

“AirBaltic had a great start of the year – we have at least 12 new destinations on our route map, introduced the world’s most modern aircraft Bombardier CS300, and serve a growing family of our customers. Therefore, I am very happy to have Alise with her aviation knowledge and experience to take part of the success of airBaltic as the new Head of the Corporate Communications department,” said Gauss.
