Located in Al Asayel St, Business Bay Dubai, the M Hotel Downtown by Millennium - the first M Hotel brand in the UAE operated by Millennium & Copthorne - has teamed up with the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to give nourishing meals to 300 taxi drivers.

The team of M Hotel Downtown by Millennium distributed tailor-made meals for the RTA taxi drivers’ convenience yesterday from 1 pm until 3 pm at the hotel. The meals were made fresh from the hotel’s restaurant and main Food and Beverage outlet, Lemon Pepper. The M Hotel take-away boxes were compact, with fruits and beverages making the RTA taxi drivers’ working day easier.

In coordination with RTA, the meal distribution was planned to take place for two days. The first phase happened yesterday with the hotel management distributing 150 meal boxes and the second phase will take place today for the remaining RTA taxi drivers.

“We believe that it doesn’t have to be a special occasion or holiday, to give back to our local community. We are positive that this project will bring shear happiness to our taxi drivers. We are also glad that RTA helped us in making this project a success,” Daniel Mathew, general manager of M Hotel Downtown by Millennium, said.
