Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights welcomes new F&B director

DUBAI, November 30, 2016

Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights, the iconic high-rise five-star hotel located in Dubai Healthcare City, has appointed Jose Rocha as director of food and beverage/culinary operations.

Rocha joins from Hyatt Regency Dubai where he held the position as executive chef. In his new role, he will oversee the entire culinary and F&B operation of the property, including six restaurants and bars as well as the extensive banquet facilities.

Rocha began his studies at the Business Administration College in Cancun, whilst his love for the culinary world started at a young age when he used to work at the family’s bakery in his hometown of Campeche, Mexico. With a career spanning more than 30 years at Hyatt, Rocha’s career first took him to different parts of Asia, before returning back to Mexico to take on the position of executive sous chef in Acapulco in 1994. One year later he was promoted to executive chef and left Acapulco in 2001 to transfer to Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt. He then moved on to his next challenge in Dubai, working for one of the most prestigious hotels in the city; Hyatt Regency Dubai.

Commenting on his new role, Rocha said: “I am very excited and thankful for being granted this new responsibility. I look forward to a new story to live and tell at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights, which will certainly be an inspiring challenge in my career.” - TradeArabia News Service
