Al Khozama Hotel welcomes new sales director

RIYADH, October 3, 2016

Al Faisaliah Hotel and Hotel Al Khozama have welcomed Russell Loughland as the new director of sales and marketing.

British national Loughland, a seasoned hotelier, is expected to bring his unparalleled expertise to the role, as he develops the domestic and international sales and marketing strategy for Al Faisaliah Hotel, Al Faisaliah Suites and Hotel Al Khozama.

Loughland’s appointment is part of a strategic drive to reinforce and strengthen the group’s commercial initiatives in the increasingly competitive luxury hospitality market. With more than 25 years experience in the hospitality industry, most recently, Loughland held the position of executive assistant manager for Crowne Plaza Kuwait Al Thuraya City. In this role he was responsible for the pre-opening project management of the new five star, 140-room and 71-suite conference and convention property. His work experience to date has provided him with far-reaching oppportunities in the luxury market with some of the world’s leading brands including, Shangri La, Fairmont, Banyan Tree, Rosewood as well as leading independent properties including the Yas Hotel in Abu Dhabi and the Regency Kuwait.
