Gulf Air announces news schedule for Athens

MANAMA, September 19, 2016

Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, announced today a new schedule for its flights to and from the Greek capital Athens.

Currently operating four flights a week between Bahrain and Athens International Airports, Gulf Air has introduced a new timing starting from November 2 for two of its weekly Athens flights.

With the introduction of morning flights, the new schedule will give customers flexibility in choosing convenient timing and better connectivity from GCC, Indian sub-continent and Far East.

Ahmed Janahi, Gulf Air chief commercial officer, said: “Since we resumed services to Athens in the summer of 2014, the route has shown strong and steady growth to date. Athens is a key European destination in our network and we saw more customers from the region choosing to spend their holidays in Greece. The new timing will offer greater flexibility with the introduction of two morning flights from Bahrain. It will also enhance connectivity time for our customers from various origins in our network”.
