Oman Air suspends Najaf service

MUSCAT, September 14, 2016

To ensure safe flight operations, Oman Air has announced that its planned service between Muscat and Najaf, Iraq, will no longer be launched on September 15.

All planned flights between the two cities from September 15 to October 1 have been cancelled. A decision as to whether flights will take place after October 1 will be taken later this month and an announcement will be made in due course, the airline said in a statement.

The decision was taken in line with Oman Air’s over-riding priority of ensuring the safety and well-being of all its customers and staff.

Tickets will be refunded or exchanged at point of purchase. Alternatively, travellers can contact the Oman Air Customer Service team at webbooking@omanair.com, Tel: + 968 2453 1111. - TradeArabia News Service
