The new outlet at Al Ghurair Mall

First Korean casual restaurant opens in Dubai's Al Ghurair Mall

DUBAI, August 21, 2016

Korean fusion restaurant Kimchikin Dubai recently announced the opening of its first fast casual restaurant’s flagship outlet at Al Ghurair Mall in Dubai, UAE.

The Kimchikin name is inspired from the world famous Korean word Kimchi, which represents spicy cabbage, the national food of Korea. With a contemporary, vibrant menu, the restaurant offers dine-in and takeaway options. Customers are served authentic Korean taste, with the ingredients and spices being sourced from South Korea.

Kimchikin further plans to open branches in Saudi Arabia, followed by Kuwait, apart from other outlets in the UAE.

Originally founded by Korean architect Ryan SungHaak Chung, the new branch is a joint venture with Universal Investment Group, a leading Dubai-based investment company. The restaurant will be offering a wide range of Korean dishes, including its signature golden chicken wings. The menu is also adapted to suit the taste buds of multiple nationalities.

“It is very exciting to bring the best in Korean taste to the UAE, and see customers of all nationalities enjoy our food. We have some signature items which have already become quite popular, like the golden chicken wings, and we are on the way to lay claim to the best chicken wings in town," added Chung. - TradeArabia News Service
