Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea, a luxury property in Jordan, has appointed Emmanuel Stavrakakis as its new general manager.

A German national, Stavrakakis enjoys over 20 years of experience in the hotels and hospitality sector. His career at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) commenced when he started working at the Crowne Plaza in Germany. Proving himself to be a true hotelier, Stavrakakis climbed the career ladder confidently, working at many IHG properties in Germany, Austria, and China. Prior to joining Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea, he was the resident manager of InterContinental Nairobi in Kenya.

Oussama Massoud, IHG regional manager, said: “We are excited about having Stavrakakis as part of our team, specifically as part of the Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea team.
