Ras Al Khaimah is set to welcome the new Tulip Inn, managed by Golden Tulip and owned by Action Group, which will open in the UAE emirate early this year, said a report.

The new hotel is a result of a joint venture signed with the hotel group in October last year, where it agreed to acquire a leasehold interest in new hotel, Proactive Investors reported.

The Ras Al Khaimah Tulip Inn will be branded under the three-star category, consisting of 104 rooms, suites and apartments.

Alain Debare, Action Hotels chief executive, said: “The hotel is currently in the final stages of conversion with fit out works being completed with formal opening during Q1 2016."

Joint venture partner Action Group Holdings owns 64.7 per cent of the AIM quoted company, the report said.
