Emirates...supporting the growth of arts and creative industries in Dubai.

Competition dates extended for Emirates ‘Capture 380’

DUBAI, January 6, 2016

Emirates, in collaboration with the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, will be extending the deadline and age limit for its popular competition focused on photography and creative writing, ‘Capture 380’.

Participants will have a chance to win four tickets to one of Emirates’ 36 A380 destinations of their choice.

The competition’s new closing date for entries will now be February 10. The competition will also now be open to UAE Nationals and residents aged 14 and above.  Participants must bring together words and images in creative ways to illustrate ‘time’, the festival’s theme for its upcoming edition in March 2016.

Those wishing to participate are required to submit an original photo accompanied by up to 380 words in a caption format in prose or poetry that creatively gives meaning to the image. Entrants will be judged on the quality of their writing, and on the originality of their approach for a chance to win four Economy Class tickets, in each language category (English and Arabic), to any Emirates A380 destination of their choice.

Shortlisted participants and winners will be announced at the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, which takes place from March 1 to 12.

Emirates has been the title sponsor of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature since its inception in 2009. The Festival, along with other key cultural and music sponsorships, allows the airline to engage with its customers and wider communities as well as offer an opportunity to support the growth of arts and creative industries in Dubai. – TradeArabia News Service
