Elaf in bid to boost Egyptian tourism
JEDDAH, January 3, 2016
The Elaf Group, a leading provider of tourism and hospitality services, recently hosted a special meeting with Hisham Zazou, the Egyptian Minister of Tourism in Jeddah to discuss ways on how to reinforce tourism for both Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The discussions focused on how to increase two-way tourism for Elaf customers in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The Egyptian delegation encouraged the Elaf Group to promote Sharm El Sheikh, a city situated on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula and along the coastal strip of the Red Sea in Egypt, to its customers visiting the country.
The two parties also expressed intentions to explore possible investment and partnership opportunities that would be beneficial to Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Asim Danish (COO) of Elaf Group, said: “We are confident that today’s meeting will later result in stronger ties between Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, especially in the move to promote Egypt as a key tourist destination and to position Elaf Hotels as a highly preferred venue for stay by visiting tourists. We look forward to working closely with Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and help in developing their tourism industry.” – TradeArabia News Service
