Leading hotel Arjaan by Rotana Dubai Media City recently donated books to the library of Mathari Children’s Fund in Nairobi, Kenya as part of its Book Drive Campaign which aims to distribute books to underprivileged communities within the UAE and abroad.

Located in the Mathari slums in Nairobi, the Mathari Children’s Fund provides education for about 110 kids that have suffered several discriminatory situations

“We aim to collaborate with various charities and non- government organizations that support children’s education. In fact, contributing by donating books is an essential part of building awareness in a financial stable society of what is occurring in the less developed countries,” said general manager, Mark McCarthy.

“We hope to carry on our initiative that could help more poorly-educated children in order to further their intellectual development,” McCarthy said. – TradeArabia News Service
