Oman Air...new daily service

Oman Air to fly daily non-stop to Kuala Lumpur

MUSCAT, May 27, 2015

Oman Air, the national carrier of the country, will be offering daily non-stop flights to Kuala Lumpur from June 21.

Abdulrahman Al-Busaidy, Oman Air’s chief operating officer, said: “Oman Air is delighted to be once again increasing the convenience and range of choices that we offer. Our new non-stop service between Muscat and Kuala Lumpur will be warmly welcomed by customers in both Oman and Malaysia, as well as those from further afield.

Oman Air currently offers flights between Muscat and Kuala Lumpur both as a sole operator and under codeshare partnerships with Malaysian Airlines and Sri Lankan Airlines. Customers have the convenience of choosing from up to six flights per day, with each offering stopovers before reaching the destinations. From next month, however, customers will have the opportunity to fly non-stop and direct.

“Malaysia is a very popular destination with passengers from both Oman and locations throughout our international network. With the holiday season for many countries starting in June, and the Eid holidays following in July, we anticipate very strong demand for flights to Malaysia from throughout the Middle East and Europe,” he said.

Return Economy Class flights from Muscat to Kuala Lumpur are currently available from OMR198 ($512.5), with return Business Class flights costing from just OMR582 ($1,506.5) per person. – TradeArabia News Service
