Ritz-Carlton, Dubai offers sumptuous Iftar and Suhoor delicacies

The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai, a luxury hotel in the UAE emirate, goes global with its Iftar and Suhoor offerings during the holy month.
The property’s all-day dining restaurant, Caravan, has given traditional Ramadan dishes and beverages from Indonesia, Malaysia and India as well as those from the Arabian Peninsula an innovative twist, making breaking the fast a memorable experience for family, friends and colleagues.
Elegantly designed with an Arabian oasis theme and featuring indoor seating as well as outdoor tents facing the resort’s verdant lawns, Caravan is the ideal location for intimate Iftar and Suhoor gatherings.
For Iftar, guests can experience the breaking of fast with an array of sumptuous delicacies from diverse countries displayed in a lavish buffet. With specialty dishes such as Nasi Goreng from Indonesia, Beef Rendang from Malaysia, Tandoori from India and innovative Arabian dishes such as Kebbeh Tart, Emirati Lamb Ouzi and Moroccan Mobakar Lamb, guests can enjoy a global Ramadan celebration in a single setting.
To end the evening on a sweet note, guests can relish a delightful array of Arabic sweets plus a North American treat – Date Taffy Lollipops with dried fruits and nuts, a dessert which was inspired from throwing maple syrup on snow, freezing it and turning it as sticky and chewy candies. To infuse the evening with spirit of the season, a series of entertainment acts including a live musical performance and falconry experience are available.
Iftar will be offered from sunset till 9.30 pm for Dh220 ($59.8) per adult including water, Ramadan beverage selection and soft drinks. Children of ages 5 to 12 will be charged Dh110 ($29.9).
For Suhoor, an exclusive à la carte menu featuring Arabic and international dishes as well as over 25 flavours of shisha will be available. An Arab duo will provide lively entertainment over the course of the evening.
