Emirates marks one year of service in Kabul
DUBAI, December 10, 2014
Dubai-based Emirates has marked a successful year of service to Kabul, Afghanistan, having carried more than 112,000 passengers on the route since flights began in December 2013.
“Marking one year of Emirates operations in Kabul reiterates our commitment to this important market. In the past year, we’ve had healthy seat load factors on the route demonstrating passengers’ demand for the airline’s product and service. Through our Dubai hub, Emirates customers in Afghanistan are able to enjoy seamless connections throughout the year to a variety of destinations in Europe, Middle East, West Asia and Indian Ocean,” said Abbas A Haji, Emirates vice president, Iran and Central Asia.
The route is operated by an Airbus A340-300 configured in a three-cabin configuration, offering 12 First Class, 42 Business Class and 213 Economy Class seats. Emirates is the only airline which offers first class product between Dubai and Kabul.
Emirates First Class customers enjoy a complimentary chauffeur-drive and dedicated airport lounges, swift check-in and boarding.
Passengers also have the advantage of a generous baggage allowance, with 30 kg for those travelling in Economy Class, 40 kg for Business Class and 50 kg for First Class. – TradeArabia News Service
