Bahrain is set to host a nationwide shopping festival, Bahrain Noor El Ain, from December 15 to February 16, 2015. 

Bahrain Noor El Ain, which means “Bahrain the apple of my eyes”, is a term of affection which is often used by Bahrainis to describe how brightly their deep pride and feelings of patriotism shine.

The festival is a national celebration of these feelings, and will feature an exciting array of events designed to showcase the very best of what Bahrain has to offer to its people, the region and the world.

The festival comprises three major events: The Shopping Festival, the Localised Bazaars and the Entrepreneurship Awards Ceremony.

The Shopping Festival will highlight Bahrain’s dynamic and thriving retail sector, and shoppers will be rewarded with great prizes for participation. The inclusion of popular shopping hubs such as the local retailers, in addition to the malls, means that the shopping festival will support all facets of Bahrain’s business community.

Nearly 20 iconic shopping destinations such as City Centre, Seef Mall, MoDA Mall and Al A’ali Mall, among others, will actively participate in the festival.

Shoppers will also enjoy discounts and special offers, including a chance to enter the raffle draw and win prizes each week.

The Localised Bazaars will take place each weekend until mid-February and feature a range of products and services created by Bahraini entrepreneurs in locations throughout the kingdom.

The events will provide the opportunity for participants to connect with potential suppliers, partners and buyers, to create brand awareness and to promote their products in a fun atmosphere that will include entertainment and street food.

The festival will conclude in February with an Entrepreneurs Award ceremony, where Bahraini entrepreneurs will be selected by a panel of judges to receive local, regional and international recognition as the nation’s best. – TradeArabia News Service
