Rotana to manage new Bahrain property

Abu Dhabi, July 1, 2014

Rotana, a leading hotel management company in the region, has signed a new agreement with Ossis Property Developers to manage a 311-room luxury property in Bahrain.

Located on the Amwaj Islands, a group of man-made islands in the Arabian Gulf, ART Rotana is at the northeast of Bahrain, near the coast of Muharraq.

Omer Kaddouri, president and CEO of Rotana, said: “We are very proud to have been chosen to manage this new jewel, which will no doubt be a leading property not only in Bahrain but in the region. ART Rotana is a five-star luxury property, which has been developed with leisure, corporate guests and families in mind”.

The property will offer luxurious rooms and suites, including presidential and vice-presidential suits, that are all sea facing and feature a modern design, said a statement.

It will also offer extensive banqueting and conference facilities including a ballroom and eight fully-equipped meeting rooms with the latest audio-visual equipment, it said.

The hotel will feature eight food and beverage venues including an all-day dining restaurant, a steakhouse, a beach restaurant, a bar, an Italian restaurant, a lobby lounge and a patisserie.

Saud Abdulaziz Kanoo, chairman of Ossis Property Developers in Bahrain, said: “Rotana is our partner of choice to help realise our aspirations for the hospitality landscape in Bahrain. With their experience in hotel management, we are confident of achieving our project goals that will serve the tourism and hospitality sectors even further in Bahrain and to assist in developing Amwaj Islands as a destination of choice”.

“Every little detail of ART Rotana architecture and interior design have been taken care of and we have involved the best firms and consultants to fulfil our vision of creating a superb landmark on Amwaj Islands. The hotel will be a haven for families and individuals that appreciate art and the refined qualities of life,” said Kanoo.

It will also feature a leisure and wellness club with three swimming pools, a kid’s waterpark and recreational facilities.
