The Walk, a Dubai Properties Group (DPG) destination featuring a beachfront promenade for shopping and family entertainment at the Jumeirah Beach Residence, said it has lined up a series of top-notch events to mark the Eid Al Adha holidays.

DPG said it has partnered with Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE) to promote the country’s local customs and traditions in the UAE hospitality kiosks.

DEPE will have two local kiosks dishing out traditional sweets, coffee and dates to celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid Al Adha, said a company statement.

"Children can also enjoy Eid at The Walk with the Teddy Bear Picnic event from Covent Garden Market, scheduled for November 19 and 20. The show will be held twice daily at 2pm and 4pm," the DPG statement said.

"The Teddy Bear Picnic will feature ‘Francoise the French Bear’, which will educate children in a fun and interactive way about travel, offering general information on topics such as the capital cities of the world and currencies," it added.

The Teddy Bear Picnic offers plenty of fun for the whole family from noon till 5pm, including a bouncy castle, football shoot games and market stalls with a variety of goods on offer.

Tickets for the show and the picnic are offered at only Dh35 at the night market on Wednesday and Thursday evening, or can be purchased on the event days.

The Walk at Jumeirah Beach Residence has become one of the most distinctive and popular entertainment and shopping destinations in the UAE. The unique 1.7km outdoor shopping boulevard boasts 305 shops situated on both the plaza and ground levels.
