Wahooo! waterpark, one of Bahrain’s top leisure attractions, will feature a leading female disc jockey on a series of ladies-only evenings.

DJ Leil will be spinning a range of tunes for an all-female crowd of aqua enthusiasts from February 24.

With additional ladies’ nights featuring DJ Leil taking place at Wahooo! on March 10 and March 24, the park will be staffed completely by women, from cleaners, security officers, mechanics and technicians to the manager and 26 qualified female lifeguards.

"Feedback from female visitors to Wahooo! indicated at that a Wednesday night dedicated for ladies would be a popular choice, and the inclusion of DJ Leil makes it an even more festive evening out,” said Damien Latham, general manager at Wahooo!

“With women making up around 40 per cent of visitors to Wahooo! at present, our special ladies-only evenings are all about creating a relaxed and light-hearted environment for women of all ages and backgrounds,” Latham added.

Boys of 8 years and under will be allowed in with female family members only. Age identification is required, a statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
