The Lost Paradise of Dilmun (LPOD), a major water theme park in Bahrain, will re-open on March 4.

“Thursday March 4 is the opening date and we can’t wait to welcome guests again at the Lost Paradise of Dilmun,” said Paul Blunt, general manager, the Lost Paradise of Dilmun.

“With the mild winter we’ve had and with the excitement of the first F1 race happening in Bahrain in March, we’ve decided to open a bit earlier this year,” he added.

“Come and join us for the opening weekend and be one of the first to ride the slides and enjoy the real party atmosphere,” he said.

The opening weekend will feature live music and competitions besides the regular rides, slides and waves.

From 11 am to 6 pm the 14 rides, slides and attractions will be available for everyone to enjoy again and again. When guests need to take a break from the fun-filled action there are loads of shady spots to relax with a cool drink or ice cream.

Dive in Movies return after the huge success of last year. “After the great reception they got last year, we have been working hard to secure rights to some really fantastic family movies this year,” said Blunt.

“The feedback we got was that people loved the unique experience of being able to watch top Hollywood movies out under the stars from the wave pool on the biggest outdoor cinema screen in Bahrain. So we will have them running on Friday and Saturday nights starting May 1,” he added.

Ladies Nights will begin in May, running every Thursday from 6pm to midnight featuring  female DJs. 

DJs will be playing every weekend at LPOD, a statement said.
