'Exciting Sri Lanka' is the latest initiative by SriLankan Airlines to promote the island's appeal to visitors and also offer them an opportunity for a quick holiday.

A series of packages inclusive of airfare, star class hotel accommodation and airport transfers are offered to give holidaymakers a hassle free two nights and three days in the paradise island.

'Sri Lanka comes alive this time of year, especially with the year end holiday season and as shopping centres put up the Christmas lights and the discounts tags,' said general manager, SriLankan Holidays, Amith Sumanapala.

The 'Exciting Sri Lanka' campaign takes over from the very successful 'Visit Sri Lanka' campaign launched in India earlier this year and is part of SriLankan Holiday's popular 'Mega 999' holiday package series.
