'Go for Gold' in City Centre Sharjah

SHARJAH, July 11, 2017

City Centre Sharjah is bringing a new level of entertainment to Sharjah residents' and visitors' shopping experience this month.

The mall, owned and operated by Majid Al Futtaim – the leading shopping mall, retail and leisure pioneer across the Middle East and North Africa, has launched the ‘Go for Gold’ promotion that gives shoppers a chance to be part of a specially designed high-tech virtual reality game to win gold daily.

Shoppers have the golden opportunity of winning 22-carat gold coins throughout the month by just spending Dh299 at any of the stores in City Centre Sharjah to enter the draw. A total of 155 shoppers will walk away with this gift in July, said a statement.

And if they want to double their chances of winning, families are invited to challenge themselves in a one-of-a-kind point-based virtual reality game, ‘Gold Vault’, that combines the latest innovative technology with entertainment. Shoppers are invited to gear up with virtual reality glasses and enter a vault where they must collect money bags and find the vault key.

“We want families to come to the mall and take advantage of our cool promotions this month, and get involved in an interactive activity together in our virtual reality game,” said Mohammed Al Rais, mall manager, City Centre Sharjah.

“We want to create unforgettable memories for our loyal customers every day and will be rewarding 155 shoppers with 22-carat gold coins throughout the month.”

City Centre Sharjah is one of the emirate’s largest and leading shopping destinations, attracting 11.4 million visitors annually. Boasting more than 120 international brands covering 38,000 sq m of retail space, the mall recently announced an Dh260 million redevelopment plan to enrich the shopping experience for people in the emirate. - TradeArabia News Service
