Cigarette shortage woes in Bahrain

Traders in Bahrain have complained of a shortage in supplies of some cigarette brands from distributors. The Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication, has learned that distributors are allegedly not fulfilling orders on time since last week when the import duty on tobacco was increased from 100 per cent to 200 per cent.
