Majid Al Futtaim’s malls in Dubai mark Chinese New Year

DUBAI, February 11, 2016

Majid Al Futtaim’s malls in Dubai are celebrating good fortune and prosperity on the occasion of Chinese New Year, with a line-up of cultural performances until February 21.
 
The Mall of the Emirates and City Centres Deira, Mirdif, Me’aisem and Shindagha, are delivering an array of engaging family-friendly activities with compelling acts from traditional characters taht represent the Chinese culture, to usher in the start of 2016 in the Chinese calender, the 'Year of the Monkey.'

The event features a beautiful show of Chinese inspired performers parading through Mall of the Emirates, Majid Al Futtaim’s flagship lifestyle and luxury shopping destination, directing shoppers to the Main Galleria where they will be treated to a stunning stage show. 
 
Minji hostesses will open the show with performances from Chinese Warriors, elegant umbrella dancers, a Chinese lion and a dancing laughing monk against a backdrop of culturally inspired imagery from giant fans, traditional kites and scattered flowers. 
 
At the end of each show, audience members will have the opportunity to take photographs with the talented artists. 
 
While visitors of City Centres Deira, Mirdif, Me’aisem and Al Shindagha will enjoy roaming shows featuring Chinese lions, valiant acrobatic samurais and beautiful geishas, twirling umbrellas, dancing Minji girls and imperial warriors. 
 
The malls will host daily parade shows that are sure to captivate the whole family with dynamic acts influenced by the rich and colourful Chinese culture. - TradeArabia News Service
