Xiaomi smartphones to debut in Mena region

Xiaomi’s smartphones are set to make a debut in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region next month.
TASK FZCO will launch a range of Xiaomi’s smartphones initially in Saudi Arabia and the UAE at the start of next year, with a subsequent roll-out across the rest of the GCC and North Africa shortly afterwards, said a statement.
Xiaomi has become a leading smartphone companies since it launched five years ago, attracting users with its range of beautifully designed, high-end smartphones sold at incredible price points, it said.
Latest figures from IDC research, which tracks the sales of smartphones worldwide, showed that Xiaomi is now among the top five global smartphone brands.
