Modern Woman Show debuts in Dubai
DUBAI, December 18, 2015
Modern Woman Show, the premium lifestyle exhibition for women, made its grand debut at the Dubai World Trade Centre, amid elite brands, inspirational seminars and fashion shows.
The three-day shopping plus fun extravaganza, will run till December 19 and was inaugurated by Mona Ghanem Al Marri, director general of Government of Dubai Media Office.
The show promises a unique shopping flavour for ladies who believe in a luxurious and chic lifestyle and understand the need to indulge themselves, and offers them a combination of international and regional products all in one place.
Conceptualised, planned and organised by Sumansa Exhibitions in association with Flagship Projects, the three-day event is open to visitors for free.
Reem Al Zarouni, co-organiser of the event, said: “The Modern Woman Show is more than just a place to explore and buy niche products.
“It is unique in terms of both concept and execution with a more holistic approach towards the definition of a modern woman. As a result, visitors will not only be charmed by the classic array of brands on offer, but also learn to be inspired by powerful women who have paved way for others to follow their dreams.”
The exhibition has promised to bring visitors face to face with some of the latest and most exclusive fashion and beauty brands, together with huge doses of fun, frolic and ‘me-time’.
Modern Woman Show features all fashion, beauty, clothing and wellness needs of a woman with an aim to entertain as well as educate.
The visitors will also have the fantastic opportunity to avail on-site beauty sessions by eminent make-up artists, and have fun learning the tips and tricks of wearing make-up with a professional touch.
The show also offers workshops and has organised demo areas as well.
Two of the biggest highlights of the event, the Fashion Shows – led by Sarah Belhasa’s Studio 8 and seminars conducted by leading Arab women, are open to visitors for free on all three days.
The fashion shows will be showcasing a variety of contemporary trends and will include popular names like Sumaya Abdul Razak, Saray &Valley, Deepika Anand, Lucky Morani and others.
Reflecting class and sophistication, the fashion shows will give our ladies a good chance to observe the hottest trends on the ramp and find out first-hand the latest happenings on the fashion scene.
The seminars, on the other hand will give visitors a glimpse of the empowered women of the Arab world.
Powerful women speakers will discuss the routes they took off the beaten track, give their listener tips on ways to deal with challenges faced in professional spheres, and how to emerge successful in a dominant male society.
Sajid Ali, director, Sumansa Exhibitions, said: “The Modern Woman Show is the perfect place to get great deals, try new styles, explore new products and generally, treat yourself to the great time you deserve. Women form an incredible part of our workforce, our homes and, of course, our lives and should be appreciated for their efforts and hard work.
"This exhibition is but a small tribute to our ladies and we hope that they will enjoy the experience as much as we did in putting it together for them.”
The show will be an annual event featuring products and brands from around the Middle East which includes clothing, jewelry, health and beauty products, personal care and perfumes. - TradeArabia News Service
