Dubai Shopping Malls’ gives away top prizes

DUBAI, June 29, 2015

Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG) has organised the final draw of the first leg of its summer promotion in association with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) with a total of 100 shoppers winning travel packages and 50 walking away with shopping vouchers at Dh10,000 ($2,721).

The mega shopping promotion has seen winners from several nationalities including Emirati, European and Indian walking away with prizes worth Dh1.5 million.

The visitors who shopped for a minimum of Dh200 at retail stores and Dh100 at F&B outlets of participating malls received raffle coupons and were eligible to enter the weekly raffle draws.

The promotion this year had its highest participation till date, with twenty four malls rolling out additional promotions and events to entice shoppers, leading to a significant increase in footfalls for the participating outlets.

Kabir Malkani, head of Marketing Department, Shopping Malls – Lals Group, said: “So far the promotion has led to an exceptional increase in sales and footfall for our mall and we are expecting the upcoming phases to exceed our expectations as well.

“The summer promotions have always had success in drawing people to our stores.. The unique attractions and entertainment, complemented by the attractive raffles and prizes has encouraged us to be ä part of this summer campaign.”

The second leg of the campaign ‘Eid in Dubai - Eid Al Fitr’ is scheduled to be held from July 1 to the last three days of Eid.

During our mega promotion, most of the participating malls offer spectacular events, unique attractions, rich diversity and entertainment, complemented by attractive value for money prizes and raffles.
