Top Italian fashion brand opens new Dubai outlet

DUBAI, March 23, 2015

The Italian fashion label Liu Jo has opened a new store in Dubai’s Mercato Mall, marking its third outlet in the UAE after store openings in the Dubai Mall in 2008 and in The Galleria in Abu Dhabi in 2013.

The glamorous store is situated on the ground floor of the mall and stretches on a 100-sq-m area presenting the SS15 collections of Liu Jo and Liu Jo Jeans, a statement said.

Created by the Italian design studio Fabio Caselli Design, the Gold Concept for Liu Jo combines luminosity, transparencies and extra fine materials, creating luxurious, feminine and snug spaces, according to the statement.

The alternation between gold, steel and wood, and the presence of semi-transparent screening contributes to creating balanced subdivisions between different shopping areas, while the use of lighting creates 3D effects.

“This opening confirms our desire to grow in the Emirates,” said Visha Stubbs, responsible for Liu Jo’s operations and brand in the UAE.

“As an Italian community mall with piazzas and quaint cafes, Mercato makes a great new home for Liu Jo and allows us to reach new consumer segments,” she added.

Since its foundation in 1995, Liu Jo has expanded internationally with over 6,000 points of sale in Europe and over 100 points of sale in Asia and the Middle East. In 2014, the company registered a turnover of $281 million. – TradeArabia News Service
