Fly, a leading European mobile maker, has launched its slimmest smartphone at major retail outlets across the Gulf Cooperation Council in partnership with Dubai-based distributor Eurostar Group.

Measuring only 5.1-mm thin, the Fly Blade is officially the slimmest smartphone in the world available for purchase, weighing  95.5 grams, and combining an ultra-sleek design with advanced technology at a competitive of Dh999 ($272), said a statement.

The highly anticipated Fly Blade offers a range of sophisticated features, including face recognition phone lock, smart gestures, and a vibrant 4.8-inch Super Amoled display.

A 1.8-mm narrow bezel allows for a large, captivating screen that enhances the user experience when viewing photos or videos, browsing the internet, or reading text.

Its scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass protects both the display and the rear panels of the Fly Blade, with a metal encasing that ensures the device does not bend.

It is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat OS and  the Fly Blade packs an octa-core 1.7Ghz processor, promising reliable, high-speed performance and effortless functionality.

The users can capture their precious moments in vibrant photos and videos with the rear 8MP autofocus camera. The ‘Selective Focus’ feature highlights certain elements of a frame and blurs the rest, enabling users to take professional photographs from the convenience of their super-slim smartphone.

‘Focus and Light Separation’ guarantees vivid contrast, while ‘Face Beauty Mode’ allows users to enhance their portraits by amplifying the eyes, evening the skin tone, and reducing the appearance of blemishes. It features a wide-angle front 5MP embedded camera.

The phone also boasts a long-lasting Lithium-Ion 2050 mille-ampere hour battery, guaranteeing users 140 hours of uninterrupted operation in standby mode, and eight-hours talk time.
