Bahrain gears up for big shopping fest

With the participation of over 20 malls and 1,500 retailers, the upcoming 'Bahrain Noor El Ain (BNEA) festival is set to redefine the kingdom’s shopping experience.
Launching on December 15 until February 16, 2015, the shopping festival, which is the first of its kind in Bahrain, will see the inclusion of malls, retailers and shoppers participating in outstanding deals, promotions, and festivities.
The excitement continues, as with every BD10 ($26.3) spent shoppers become eligible to participate in the weekly mega raffle offering amazing prizes such as cars, iPads, iPhones, Samsung phones, televisions, F1 tickets, Gulf Air tickets and Go Pro cameras in addition to vouchers and a grand prize to be revealed on February 20.
The convenience of the raffle also allows any purchasers at registered retailers, both inside malls and outside, to redeem a raffle ticket for each BD10 spent, at any appointed BNEA raffle kiosks within participating malls.
"It is an absolute pleasure to join the Bahrain Noor El Ain festival," said a spokesperson for Bahrain Gas, one of the first prominent participating retailers to register with BNEA.
"As part of our participation we are excited to be offering promotions such as our home appliance year-end sale and free gas safety check to our first 200 callers, which coincides with the festival’s duration from December 15, 2014 to February 16, 2015," he added.
The interactive shopping festival will also feature a digital element, which involves social media participation. An online hashtag #BahrainPrizes will have users share their shopping wish list to engage the shopping festival in the digital forum.
Participants are also encouraged to keep an eye on the official Bahrain Noor El Ain website, social media channels and smart phone app for news of updates, rolling promotions, sales and special deals.

More than 20 major malls will be participating in the shopping festival across the Kingdom, which include Seef Mall, City Centre, MoDA Mall, Al A’ali Shopping Complex, Saar Mall, Riyadat Mall, Yateem Centre, Bahrain Mall, Ramli Mall, Lulu hypermarket (Hidd, Riffa, Sanabis), The Centre, Jawad Dome, Najibi Center, Sultan Mall, Reef Mall, Marina Mall, Enma Mall, Souq Bab al Bahrain Mall and Oasis Center.
In addition, an outstanding number of retails outlets have come onboard the festival by registering at the official kiosks located across all four governorates, such as the Beit Al Tijjar lobby in Sanabis, designated kiosks at the Northern and Muharraq Municipalities, at the Southern Governorate, and the BCCI building in Manama.
According to the organisers, Bahrain Noor El Ain is a major two-month shopping festival which showcases the very best of Bahrain, with local talent and products on display at different markets that will rotate throughout the Kingdom’s governorates.
Also, shops and malls will be offering customers amazing shopping opportunities, discounts and special offers designed to entice local and regional visitors, they stated.
Bahrain Noor El Ain will conclude on February 16 with a major entrepreneurship award ceremony for Bahrainis. Bahrain Noor El Ain is actively supported and developed by a broad range of public and private sector organisations, they added.-TradeArabia News Service
