Leading retailers in Bahrain are rushing to register for 'Bahrain Noor Elain,' shopping festival which is set to attract thousands of shoppers from Bahrain and the region.
The Bahrain Noor El Ain festival will run from December 15 to February 16, 2015.
During this 60-day shopping festival, shops and malls will be offering customers amazing weekly prizes, a chance to win from a mega raffle besides offering huge discounts and special offers.
Bahrain Noor El Ain, which literally means “Bahrain the Light of our Eyes” is a term of affection which is often used by Bahrainis to show their deep national pride and patriotism.
The festival is therefore a national celebration of these feelings, and a fitting platform for all Bahrainis to express their love for their country and pride in its achievements, wherein the spirit of Bahrain comes alive, said the organisers.
It will feature an exciting array of events designed to showcase the very best of what Bahrain has to offer to its people, the region and the world.
The nation-wide festival is being led by a committee that comprises Tamkeen, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Information Affairs Authority, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Urban Planning, Ministry of Health, Gulf Air, Bahrain Development Bank, Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), and Edamah. It is also supported by several private and public sector organisations.
The Bahrain Noor El Ain Festival will create economic and commercial benefits for the Kingdom, the private sector and its people, while communicating Bahrain’s unique spirit. The festival is supported by the public and private sectors, thus emphasising the partnership feel of the festival.
Commenting on the event, Nabeel Al Mahmood, the BCCI chief executive, said: "We welcome this opportunity for retailers to showcase their offerings to thousands of local and regional shoppers who will flock to take advantage of the special offers and valuable prizes on offer."
"The BCCI supports this initiative wholeheartedly and encourage our members to participate," he noted.
