Fucom, a leading GCC retailer, opened a new neighbourhood supermarket in Ghoroob Mirdif, Dubai, UAE, under the ‘Géant’ franchise recently.

The launch of the new Géant Easy supermarket marks the realisation of Fucom’s aggressive growth strategy that envisages the opening of more than 30 stores within the UAE over the next two years.

Situated in the residential community of Ghoroob Mirdif, the supermarket is designed to offer a superb neighbourhood shopping experience.  Ghoroob Mirdif is a popular residential community in Mirdif that is home to many families and professionals. Ghoroob Mirdif already provides residents with a host of facilities including basketball and volleyball courts, an on-site children’s playground and 24-hour security. Géant Easy will now provide the community with their only dedicated supermarket, making life at Ghoroob even more convenient for the community.

Based in Dubai Fucom is the master franchise owner of the Géant brand in the GCC region. Fucom joined hands with Groupe Casino – to bring the internationally renowned French Hypermarket concept to the Middle East, and currently operates numerous supermarkets and hypermarkets across the region.
