Magrabi Optical, a leading eyewear brand in the Mena region, has added a limited edition of the classic Ray-Ban Aviator sunglasses to its collection.

The limited edition sunglasses are made from 18-karat gold and has incorporated technology with polarised G-15 crystal lenses, said a statement.

Each of the pairs has a unique number on the temple's inside, in addition to a hallmark engraving. They also come in a brown leather case that includes the ‘Certificate of Authenticity’ as well as a unique product leaflet, it said.

Only 1,200 pairs have been produced and Magrabi Optical will sell 78 of the 140 pairs available in the Mena region, said the statement.

Originally developed in the late 1930s by Bausch and Lomb in coordination with pilot John Macready, the aviators have grown to become an iconic component of popular culture, it added. - TradeArabia News Service
