Toshiba launches new multimedia laptop

Toshiba Gulf has launched the Qosmio X70, its new gaming and multimedia laptop, designed to deliver speed, performance, advanced graphics and premium audio.

Equipped with the latest Windows 8 platform, the Qosmio X70 is powered by 4th Generation Intel Core processors with Quad Core CPU support, allowing it to produce incredible speed and performance.

It also comes with Nvidia GeForce GTX 770M dedicated graphics with up to 3GB GDDR5 VRAM with Nvidia Optimus technology, creating the sharpest images and the highest video quality.

“The Qosmio X70 is the ideal replacement for any powerful desktop PC. Created especially for the most discerning users, this laptop is packed with the best components and the latest technology that enables it to run multiple high-powered applications at the same time while maintaining optimum condition and functionality,” said Santosh Varghese, general manager, Digital Products and Services, Toshiba Gulf.

With a screen response time of only 8ms, the Qosmio X70 can execute heavy duty tasks easily, a company statement said.

Even the fastest action scenes from video games and movies appear smoothly and vividly on its 17.3-inch (43.9cm) Full HD widescreen display with LED backlighting, it added.

Designed with heavy users in mind, the Qosmio X70 has up to 3TB of hard disk space allowing it to stock an extensive library of movies, photos, music and games. The laptop also comes with two HDD slots plus an ultra-fast mSATA 256GB SSD ensuring fast boot up times, instant application loading and efficient multitasking without any lag.

It also has up to 32GB of RAM in four separate slots. The Qosmio X70 comes with Intel WiDi and Wi-Fi Certified Miracast, enabling users to wirelessly transfer games, movies and images to a compatible big screen or smartphone.

For a completely immersive viewing experience, it is pre-installed with Toshiba Resolution+, a software that up-converts images, movies and other videos created in standard definition to Full HD quality. Users may also choose models equipped with an Ultra HD supporting HDMI-out port that up-converts and outputs Ultra HD content from the laptop to a compatible Ultra HD TV. – TradeArabia News Service
