Middle East Payment Services (MEPS), a payment services company, has signed an agreement with Retail Group - Jordan, enabling it to offer its customers secure MasterCard acceptance services.

By virtue of the agreement, MEPS will install point-of-sale (POS) devices at Retail Group - Jordan’s various outlets, and will provide around-the-clock technical support, card authorization and ongoing monitoring security services.

“This partnership falls in line with a series of agreements that aim to facilitate and enhance our customers’ operations,” said Dr Abdel Malek Jaber, chairman of MEPS.

“In light of the current increase in security threats and data breaches, delivering cutting-edge and secure payment services has become the key to any company’s success. At MEPS, this is achieved through supplying an integrated, multi-card point-of-sale device that ensures unparalleled security for customers.”
