Dubai, May 23, 2012
Mouawad has introduced its new Classic Pearl collection, which includes lustrous South Sea and Tahitian pearls paired with the finest diamonds set with 18K white gold to offer a classic yet contemporary jewellery collection.
The Classic Pearl is designed for lovers of fine pearl and diamond jewellery, a statement from Mouawad said. The collection comes in a variety of colours and arrangements that include combinations of South Sea golden, light yellow and white pearls, Tahitian black pearls, and white and black diamonds.
Every piece in the new Classic Pearl collection is ideal for elegant women wanting to compliment their contemporary lifestyle with classic pearl and diamond jewellery, the statement said.
“At Mouawad, we are passionate about pearls and diamonds; both are some of the rarest, naturally-occurring elements of nature,” said Pascal Mouawad, co-guardian of the Mouawad brand. “Mouawad’s skilled master jewellers took inspiration from the luster of these gemstones and gave life to a collection that holds timeless elegance within a contemporary design.”
The collection includes rings, earrings and necklaces all featuring South Sea or Tahitian pearls and diamonds in uniquely appealing settings, such as diamond-encrusted collets and swirled diamond mounts, the statement said.
“Pearl jewellery is firmly in the spotlight at Mouawad,” said Fred Mouawad, co-guardian of Mouawad. “Two months ago we signed a partnership agreement with RAK Pearls Holding for its top quality pearls. Together, we will co-design a series of unique high-statement jewellery pieces featuring pearls from the Gulf.”
“Pearls have long been at the heart of local culture and heritage. As an international company born here in the Middle East, we have a true passion for pearls, and believe in bringing out the very best in these gemstones and the women who wear them,” he added.
The Classic Pearl collection is now available in all Mouawad boutiques across the region, with prices starting from $3500. – TradeArabia News Service
