Al Zain launches new ‘Bridal Collection’

Manama, April 30, 2012

Al Zain Jewellery, one of the leading fine jewellery manufacturers and retailers in the region, has launched its 2012 Bridal Collection, featuring a large variety of wedding sets incorporating diamonds, rubies, emeralds and yellow diamonds.

The collection was officially launched in the flagship Bahrain store in Seef Mall by the chairman Nabeel Al Zain, and will see high end pieces tour the regional stores in April and May ahead of wedding season.

Al Zain’s bridal sets are popular with royal family members across the region, but the family-run company offers custom-made pieces to suit all tastes and budgets, a statement said.

“This year we are concentrating on large feature stones surrounded by intricate work, as well as always looking for something new in our collection to make each bride unique,” Al Zain said. “The majority of our sets are one off pieces, taking 6 to 8 weeks to create, so no two brides will be the same, and many are customised to suit the individual taste of the wearer and their budget.”

“Our designs are always the result of a collaborative process directed by myself or members of my family working with our team of designers to ensure the quality Al Zain is now associated with, and we personally inspect each piece to guarantee this,” he added.

The 2012 collection features simple and elaborate sets incorporating the favoured bridal stones of diamonds, emeralds and rubies in every imaginable cut, with floral, heart shaped and tear drop motifs running throughout the range.

It showcases large centre stones, but also includes an ‘illusion’ diamond range where smaller stones create the illusion to the eye of a single gem, the statement said.

The bridal collection follows the success of Al Zain’s recent Arab Deco collection - which reflected a global style change that occurred in the 1920s - inspired by the glamour of the Art Deco period fused with the strict rhythmic and linear patterns of the Arabesque motif.

Al Zain’s Arab Deco caters to the elite and fashion-conscious woman and recently won a prestigious jewellery award, it said. – TradeArabia News Service
