New Superdry store opens in Dubai
Dubai, February 29, 2012
UAE-based Al Khayyat Investments has opened the fourth Superdry store, one of the fastest growing international retailers and wholesalers of youth fashion at Dubai Marina Mall.
Al Khayyat is a leading Dubai holding company that represents more than 200 international brands including Superdry.
Superdry is an urban outerwear and denim label, which fuses design influences from Japanese graphics and vintage Americana, with the values of British tailoring.
The launch follows the introduction of a flagship Superdry store in Mall of the Emirates, which has welcomed a number of celebrity shoppers through its doors since it opened in December 2011, said a company statement.
Superdry has gained international recognition and a celebrity following, including David Beckham, Leonardo DiCaprio, Zac Efron, Kate Winslet and Shakira, to name a few, the statement added.
Emad Hussein, Superdry brand manager, Al Khayyat Investments said: “Dubai Marina Mall is a leading shopping and lifestyle destination in the heart of one of Dubai’s most dynamic lifestyle communities, and of the world’s most ambitious waterfront developments - the Dubai Marina."
"The opening comes during a period of high demand in the UAE. We are leveraging on Superdry’s international appeal and the success it has already achieved in Deira City Centre, Mirdif City Centre and Mall of the Emirates, Hussein stated.
With an eclectic mix of 160 stores, the Dubai Marina Mall is well-catered to the vibrant lifestyle of the marina community.
"The vast majority of the customers coming to our stores are youngsters, who are looking for cool, casual, and on-trend clothing," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
