Fifty One East to welcome new piano

Qatar-based leading Middle East luxury multi-brand store, Fifty One East, is set to welcome its first piano, the ‘Liszt Anniversary Grand’, of the world-renowned piano brand ‘Bösendorfer’.
International pianist, Jan Jiracek von Arnim, will commemorate the launch of the piano with a live performance and signature session in the Yamaha music square at the Lagoona Mall between 7 and 8:30 pm today, a statement said.
Described by BBC Music Magazine as ‘one of the leading pianists of his generation’, Jan Jiracek has earned his title by claiming first place at several international competitions.
He was appointed piano professor at the prestigious School of Music in Vienna, Austria, and is frequently invited as a judge at many international piano competitions.
In 2011, he was selected to be the artistic director of the International Beethoven Piano Competition Vienna, the statement said.
Bösendorfer ranks among the world´s oldest piano manufacturer, rich in tradition and world-famous for its unmistakably inspiring sound as well as its outstanding quality of its instruments.
The Liszt Anniversary Grand is a limited edition model with only 25 pieces produced globally. It is a supremely elegant instrument that was designed in the honour of the great composer Frantz Litz’s 200th Anniversary.
