Samsung launches Galaxy Note in Egypt

Cairo, December 20, 2011

Samsung Electronics, a leader in mobile technologies, has launched the 5.3-inch HD Super Amoled display Galaxy Note smartphone in Egypt.

“The Galaxy Note is Samsung’s latest innovation, by which we confirm our leadership in the Smartphones market,” said Duke Park, general manager of Samsung Egypt.

“Our unique insight and ground breaking creativity, have allowed us to bring a flagship Smartphone to the market that offers users the best portable experiences in a single, elegant device.”

The Galaxy Note features the world’s first and largest HD Super Amoled display, standing at 5.3 inches in size, enabling users to multi-task, even more effectively, with minimum scrolling and screen transitions, a statement said.

The screen, which offers a 180 degree viewing angle, provides vivid clarity that is superior to conventional HD displays, it added.

As the name suggests, the Galaxy Note is great for keeping notes, sparing users the need to carry around a paper notebook. The function allows users to create, edit and share with more styles than ever before with the help of Samsung’s advanced pen-input technology; the S Pen.

Combined with the 9.65mm-thick Galaxy Note’s full touch screen, the S pen, allows users to freely capture and create ideas while on the go; drawing and sending handwritten images and notes via text message, email, and Samsung’s ChatON communication service.

The digital S Pen can also be used for sketching and artwork.

To ensure users can fully utilize the S pen feature, the smartphone device also features Samsung’s S Memo technology, a multimedia application designed to record all forms of user-created content.

Pictures, voice recordings, typed text, handwritten notes or drawings can all be captured via a single application and converted to a ‘memo’, to be edited, annotated and shared as desired. For an even faster and smoother user interface, the phone comes equipped with a 1.4GHz dual-core processor ensuring the device is incredibly fast and offers seamless usability.

Lightning fast network speeds are enabled through the HSPA+ enabled device’s super-fast connection, ensuring a quick browsing experience, allowing users to stream videos in real-time or engage in online gaming platforms. – TradeArabia News Service
