Samsung launches new Galaxy Note in UAE

Dubai, November 30, 2011

Samsung Electronics, a leading global mobile phone provider, has launched its new smartphone Galaxy Note in the UAE.

Galaxy Note features the world’s first and largest 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a statement said.

This is an expansive high-resolution smart screen that provides an immersive and best in class viewing experience while ensuring smartphone portability and on the go usability. Additionally, an advanced pen-input technology, called the S Pen, combines with Galaxy Note’s full touch screen to introduce a unique user experience.

The incorporated digital S Pen can be used for sketching and artwork, while handwriting recognition allows ideas to be captured and shared with other devices without the need to perform any additional digitization; handwritten text is accurately converted into digital characters, the statement said.

“Samsung is very proud to be bringing revolutionary Samsung Galaxy Note to consumers in UAE. With this product, Samsung will not only create a new category in the mobile industry but will also lead efforts to continuously fulfill the needs of the consumers,” said Ashraf Fawakherji, general manager of Telecommunications Group at Samsung Gulf Electronics.

“By combining the core benefits of a smartphone and a tablet in a device that can fit the palm of your hand, we are confident that the Samsung Galaxy Note will add value to our consumers’ lives, allowing them to enjoy and fully take advantage of the device’s many innovative features – simply users can do more on the go,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
